Megan DeLay (Player 6)
Megan DeLay is thrilled to be making her debut with Black Button Eyes! In the Chicago area, she has worked with Lifeline, Akvavit, Arc Theatre, Piccolo, Artemisia, Dead Writer’s Collective, Open Door Rep, Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, and is an Ensemble Member with Promethean Theatre Ensemble, last appearing as June in Marisol. Regional credits include: In the Next Room: The Vibrator Play, Tartuffe, and Two Gentlemen of Verona at Asolo Repertory (Florida). Film: Man On Wire. Jessica Lauren Fisher (Player 5)
Jessica Lauren Fisher is thrilled to be back with Black Button Eyes! She is a Chicago based actress and founding member of Eclectic Full Contact Theatre. She has performed throughout the Chicago and Indiana area in theatre, musicals, and opera playing everything from mice to men. Favorite roles include Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Joan in Murder in Green Meadows. When not on stage, Jessica can be found choreographing and directing children at Rootz and Windy City Performs. She is ever grateful to her partner in everything Andrew. LVYA Mom!
Mike Frale (Understudy, Poe and Player 3)
Mike Frale is thrilled to be making his Chicago theatre debut with Black Button Eyes! Mike is a graduate of Lewis University's Philip Lynch Theatre where some of his credits include Bobby Strong in Urinetown the Musical, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sidney Carlton in Inspecting Carol and Mark Twain/Pap in Huck Finn. Mike is a board member of the Heritage Theatre Company and recently co-directed their production of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. Maddy Kelly (Understudy, Players 4, 5 and 6)
A recent graduate from Northwestern University, Maddy has always seen Chicago as the center of her theatrical universe. Favorite past credits include Ellen in Bullets Over Broadway (NightBlue Performing Arts), “Squeaky” Fromme in Assassins, Wren Robins in 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, Elizabeth Lavenza in Frankenstein, and Marisa in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Northwestern University). She is grateful for the support of her friends, family, and incredible teachers.
Ryan Lanning (Player 3)
Ryan Lanning is excited to be working with Mr. Rutherford and Mr. Sula again, having appeared in Black Button Eyes Productions’ inaugural production of Coraline as Other Mother. Other Chicago credits: Candide in Candide (Porchlight Music Theatre); Sammy The Writer in F_king Men, Jackie in The Wild Party (Bailiwick Chicago); Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Haven Theatre); Flute/Thisby in Benjamin Britton’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (University of Michigan Opera Theatre); Ryan received a Non-Equity Jeff Award for his portrayal of Molina in Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Bailiwick Repertory Theatre).
Matt McNabb (Player 2)
Matt is overjoyed to be part of Nevermore! Previous Chicago credits include: Amour (Black Button Eyes), Sweeney Todd, A Catered Affair (Porchlight), Myths and Hymns (BoHo), CATS (Theo Ubique-Jeff Nomination), Some Enchanted Evening (Theo Ubique), Amahl and the Night Visitors (Main Street Opera), The Drowsy Chaperone, Side Man, Christmas Carol (Metropolis). Matt is currently producing his own cd of the music of Sondheim. Matt is a composer and has received raves for his opera More Coffee, Less White Trash. Matt is also the Education Outreach Coordinator for Chicago a cappella. Huge thanks to Ed for this opportunity!

Peter is thrilled to be a part of his first show with Black Button Eyes Productions! A proud Chicago native, he was last seen in Cuckoo Theatre Project’s production of Tick Tick Boom and Music for Theater Chicago’s production of The Wild Party. Love to his family and friends!
Maiko Terazawa (Player 4)
Maiko is very excited to make her debut with Black Button Eyes Productions in the Chicago premiere of Nevermore- The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe! Chicago credits include Iron Irene: A Musical Fable (Iron Women Productions) Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Pride Films & Plays), Oracle of the Gutterpunks (Prop Thtr), Ayn Rand in Love (MCL Chicago), and Who Maid Who? Jeremy has appeared in over forty Chicago productions including Ghosts & Zombies (Akvavit), Incident at Vichy (Redtwist), All’s Well That Ends Well (Stage Left), Tartuffe, Hauptmann (Jeff Award), & The Spitfire Grill (BoHo), Boojum! (Caffeine/Chicago Opera Vanguard – Jeff Nomination), Cabaret (Jeff Award), Chess (Jeff Nomination), Evita, Flora the Red Menace (Jeff Nomination, After Dark Award), The Fantasticks, and numerous revues with Theo Ubique, Sweeney Todd, Amadeus, Assassins, & Ragtime (Porchlight), 1776 (Signal), Wind in the Willows (City Lit), Carousel (Light Opera Works), and shows with Oracle, Profiles, Right Brain, Hell in a Handbag, Promethean, and many more. He produced two original cabarets at Davenport’s, sung at the Hideout Inn, and played a serial killer on the web series #WhoKilledHeather (YouTube). Kevin Webb was last seen with Black Button Eyes in Shockheaded Peter, Amour and Coraline. Kevin is a company member with Pride Films and Plays and has been featured in their productions of Songs from an Unmade Bed (Jeff nomination-Principal Actor), Angry Fags, Design for Living, Under A Rainbow Flag and Bite: A Pucking Queer Cabaret.
