Perfectly balances the over-the-top goofiness, goriness, and absurdity that the series is known for, with some amazing musical and dance performances along the way.
— James Brod, Third Coast Review
Black Button Eyes embraces the cheap-and-dumb glory of the original films with gusto and scores some genuine laughs along the way...
— Kerry Reid, Chicago Tribune
Delightfully mindless splatter theater.
— Jonathan Abarbanel, Windy City Times
One bloody good time.
— Noel Schecter, New City Stage
Liberating, rowdy, body-splitting fun.
— Quinn Rigg, Chicagoland Musical Theatre
One of the silliest, bloodiest, most wonderfully excessive shows you could want...this one is something you ought to see.
— Karen Topham, Chicago On Stage

Evil Dead the Musical

ON SALE NOW! Click the "Evil Dead Tix" link above for tickets.

It just wouldn't stay dead. Black Button Eyes Productions brings this loving and cheerfully profane musical parody of Sam Raimi's classic Evil Dead films back to the city for its Chicago Storefront Premiere. When a group of fresh-faced college kids go to a cabin in the woods for spring break, it's only a matter of time before spells are spoken and demonic possession begins. Take in the horror and hilarity in the gritty storefront setting where this show belongs!
