T.J. is thrilled to return to Black Button Eyes Productions! Recent shows in Chicago include Haymarket (Underscore Theater Company), Psmith, Journalist (City Lit Theater Company), Julius Caesar (Brown Paper Box Co), and As You Like It (Traveling Players). He's also a music director, having recently music directed Little Women and [title of show] (Brown Paper Box Co), Carrie 2 (Underscore Theater Company), and Shockheaded Peter (Black Button Eyes Productions). He'd like to thank all his friends, family, and you, kind audience member, for supporting live theater in Chicago.

Alexander Ellsworth (The Bear and others)

Alex Ellsworth is a cellist and interdisciplinary artist interested in mixed media performance, song writing, and community organization. He is a founding member of the artist collective, Mocrep, and lives with ensemble members adjacent to their studio-theater loft in West Humbolt Park, Chicago. Recent projects include, Other Sensations, an original work for the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival 2019, a residency with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the release of their debut album on the Parlor Tapes+ label. His original work draws from traditions of song writing, electro-acoustic collage and string playing to create suites of music with lights and projections. The culmination of this independent project will be an EP titled, The Silver Hour, to be released in fall of 2019. For the past five years, he has been a member of the touring cast for cinematic shadow puppet company, Manual Cinema; performing in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Taiwan, the UK, Germany, Czechia, Canada, Mexico and locations around the US. Additionally, Alex conducts the string orchestra and teaches cello at MUSIC INC, a non profit music program, serving schools on Chicago’s west and south sides.

Rachel is delighted to be a part of this stunning and haunting piece. Other Chicago credits include Anne in A Little Night Music (Boho Theatre), Teen Fiona/Peter Pan in Shrek, Amber u/s in Sleeping Beauty (Marriott Theatre), and Hadley Breaker in The Incredible 6,000 Foot Ladder to Heaven (Chicago Musical Theatre Festival), which earned her the award for Best Leading Performance at CMTF.
