Quinn Corrigan (Understudy- Chaplain, Mr. Morland)

Quinn is thrilled to be making his Black Button Eyes Production debut as Understudy for Mr. Morland and Chaplain. Originally a Tucson, AZ native, he moved to Chicago to pursue theatre after graduating from the University of Arizona with his BFA in Musical Theatre. His previous credits include Kyle/Dewey/Ensemble/u.s. Prof. Callahan in Legally Blonde (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre), Michael Jenkinson in Route 66 (Open Door Theatre), “Scott” in The Producers (Arizona Onstage Productions), and “Monsignor O’Hare” in Sister Act (Arizona Repertory Theatre). He would like to thank his boyfriend Riley, family, and friends for their love and support! @corriganq14 Quinn will perform the role of Mr. Morland at the Thursday, February 3 performance.

Jessica Lauren Fisher (Understudy- Mary Rose, Mrs. Morland, Mrs. Otery)

Jessica is a founding member and the casting director for Eclectic Full Contact Theatre. She has performed throughout the Chicago and Indiana area in theatre, musicals, and opera playing everything from mice to men. Favorite roles include Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Sarah Daniels in Spinning into Butter. She has been a teaching artist for over 10 years and has directed and choreographed shows for people of all ages. She is ever grateful to her family and her partner in everything Andrew. LVYAU2 Mom!

Joey Harbert (Understudy- Cameron, Simon)

Joey is proud to be involved in his first production with Black Button Eyes. Most recently, he could be seen as Freddy in New American Folk Theatre's My Life is a Country Song, as well as the bomb-slinger Louis Lingg in Underscore's 2018 production of Haymarket. He also released his debut single "Come Back Home" in August of 2020 on all streaming platforms and currently has an album in the works. Previous to all that, he graduated with a degree in musical theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma. Joey is passionate about new music theatre and is excited to be a part of Mary Rose's journey. Joey will portray the role of Simon at the Thursday January 27 performance.

Rosalind Hurwitz (Mrs. Otery)

Rosalind is pleased to make her Black Button Eyes debut. Chicago area theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet (Kane Repertory Theatre), The Cripple of Inishmaan (Surging Theatrics), One Flea Spare (Connective), Caroline, Or Change (Firebrand), The Light in the Piazza (SLATE), and Our Town (The Hypocrites, directed by David Cromer.) She’s also worked with Remy Bumppo, Porchlight, Oak Park Festival Theatre, Promethean, Folks Operetta, Main Street Opera, Lifeline, and Next Theatre, where she was the original Mrs. One in the musical Adding Machine. Offstage, Rosalind is a research speech-language pathologist in the Aphasia Center at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

Michael Reyes (Cameron)

Michael is excited to join this awesome cast and crew, his first outing with Black Button Eyes Productions. A member of this community for a couple decades now, random smattering of other credits includes: Karenin in Anna Karenina (Lifeline Theatre); Nick in Mutt (Stage Left); Sebastian in Animals Commit Suicide (First Floor), Player in A Kurt Weill Cabaret (Theo Ubique), and more with other great companies in the Chicago Theatre extended family. A proud member of the Strawdog Theatre Ensemble, credits there include Masque Macabre, The Night Season, and Cymbeline. Humble thanks to all of you for being here!

Maxel Schingen (Simon)

Maxel is a Chicago based performer from Tulsa, Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, Maxel was heavily involved with community based organizations focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Chicago credits include Solomon in Speech and Debate and Bob in Bob: A Life in Five Acts. Tulsa credits include Henson in Ragtime and Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar. Maxel is currently working towards his B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.

Jonathan Schwart (Mr. Morland)

Jonathan is excited for his post-pandemic return and Black Button Eyes debut. Chicago credits include: The Secret of My Success (Paramount Theatre); The Music Man (Goodman Theatre); Caroline, or Change (Firebrand Theatre); Grand Hotel (Kokandy Productions; Jeff Award – Performer in a Supporting Role in a Musical); and Ragtime (Griffin Theatre; Jeff Award – Best Ensemble). TV: Chicago Fire. Training: The ACADEMY at Black Box Acting, The Second City Music Program. Education: UT Austin (BBA Finance, BA Economics), UChicago (Master of Public Policy). Stephanie Stockstill (Mary Rose)

Stephanie was previously seen with Black Button Eyes Productions in Goblin Market and Shockheaded Peter.
